Daily Site Operations

•  Establish and promote excellent working relationships through clear, professional, and accurate communication.

•  Advise clients, consultants, contractors, and WestPro representatives to ensure projects are completed safely.

•  Ensure contractors are working in compliance with applicable legislation, client/site requirements, and WestPro's Prime Contractor Safety Management Program.

•  Take the lead in incident investigations and/or ensure contractors complete investigations as required.

•  Advise the client and WestPro when public safety may be compromised at any site and provide recommendations for improvement.

Administration

•  Audit consultants and contractors against applicable legislation, client requirements, and their safety programs.

•  Accurately keep detailed notes of pertinent information and complete required paperwork and/or electronic documentation.

•  Attend regular client/contractor site meetings to communicate safety concerns and review relevant information from findings, audits, inspections, and incidents.

•  Provide monthly, quarterly, or project-specific reports for WestPro, clients, developers, or other required stakeholders.

•  Maintain confidentiality and submit documentation in accordance with WestPro and client requirements.

Other Duties

•  Take responsibility for assigned Prime Contractor duties as required by applicable provincial legislation and the scope of the subcontracted work.

WORKING CONDITIONS

POSITION BACKGROUND:

The Rental Coordinator is responsible for providing the customer base with long- and short-term rental equipment, from the original quote to final invoice. Works closely with rental sales representatives and customers, as well as current product manufacturers and suppliers. The Rental Coordinator makes arrangements for the transportation of all rental equipment to customers, prepares quotes and completes rental contracts, and invoices customers. Daily Duties

Journeyman Mechanic

The Field Journeyman Mechanic works to guide and mentor apprentices. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues and repair to ensure equipment is performing optimally. The Senior Driving Instructor Contractor – Driver Education is responsible for delivering high-quality Alberta-approved, in-person classroom theory training for Class 5 and Class 7 learners. This role focuses on classroom-based driver education, student knowledge development, engagement, and preparation for safe driving and progression into in-vehicle instruction.

The Senior Driving Instructor Contractor also supports program consistency, mentorship of other instructors, and continuous improvement of driver education classroom delivery.

CORE DUTIES:

Position Background:

The Service Coordinator coordinates with Project Managers / Branch Managers and yard personnel to ensure sufficient staff are available for projects/service as requested. The Equipment Operator is trained and certified in the operation of vehicles and other mobile equipment/machinery.
